Dr. Artemis Kontou

Artemis is the Co-Founder & COO of Malloc. Artemis holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London an MSc in Meteorology from the University of Birmingham and BSc in Mathematics from the University of Nottingham. She has previously worked at Shell UTC, Imperial College, Akzo Nobel and the Joint Research Centre of European Commission. Artemis holds two international patents and published her research results in peer-reviewed journals. From 2018-2021 Artemis served as a Research Infrastructure Manager at the KIOS CoE, University of Cyprus leading the development of testbeds of critical infrastructure systems and participating in European research projects. Artemis teaches Project Management at the Department of Business and Public Administration of the University of Cyprus and she is the national delegate of the Technical Committee of the Innovation Management System family of standards in the International Organisation of Standardisation (ISO).
